I wanted to say you and the band have been such an inspiration to me. I absolutly love your music and I'm trying to learn the violin pieces. (if you can't tell from that I play the violin) My best friend got me into this band and I'll tell you know i havnt been the same since. (thats a good thing!)
I watch some of your podcasts before and it seems like you and Jen always have Starbucks and this is just a question for you to think about, how many cups of Starbucks have you had in the past year or so????(not that I'm hatin on you[which I'm not])

My birthday is July 21st, too, Korey! :) Nice to meet a fellow Cancer who loves to play guitar. I'm the same exact way and am learning Skillet songs! Plus, it's a perfect way to witness to my instructor about Jesus Christ.
I was introduced to Skillet back in October 2011 when I turned my life over to Christ for the true and real time. I grew up in a "Christian" home and church all my life, but never gave Him my entire life, and the piled up mistakes prove my former lost-ness. All that's behind me now. When I discovered Skillet, I was in real need for some rocking good Christian bands, but I was a bit hesitant due to my belief that good Christian rock wasn't possible (I'm 35 years old and have seen the evolution of Christian music). How wrong I was! I've been hooked every since and own every album. Your songs are part of my gym workout playlist (Energy, Savior, Rebirthing, Whispers in the Dark, Collide, Dead Inside, Believe, Forgiven...one of my all-time favorites that describes my life and attitude now, and even some of the secular-feeling ones like Should've When You Could've and Don't Wake Me). Awesome music and I hope to learn the guitar parts well enough to rock like you.
Lastly, I think it's great that you and John find a way to keep family first. I suppose being in the band together is the perfect way to do that! My fiance and I are kind of in the same boat. She's beautiful, can sing, and is super-supportive of me. Once we're married, I think God will use us in music to reach our circle of influence. You're an inspiration and my prayer is that you maintain your focus on God first, so the world doesn't take you down. It's easy to get sucked in these days.

Hi, Skillet is the best band ever. I have only been listening to your music for a short time and already i think your music is great. I would love it if Skillet would come to Brisbane, Australia. I would love to come to one of your live shows. I think Skillet is very inspirational. Skillet has inspiered me to learn to play the electric guitar and to even sing in front of people. Skillet has inspired me to be a better Christain and to use the talent God gave me.
