In a combined effort between the new National Cattle Congress Director Larry Gaffey and Frank from FM Entertainment. Skillet was shown the Tribute Video done with their song Hero for 21 yr old SPC Donald Nichols they decided to take action during their Avalanche tour concert on April 26th in Waterloo.
• During the concert, the band stopped and spoke about Donald then sang this song as a tribute to him and his life.
• A roaring crowd sang along as well as watched as the bands pyrotechnic team executed the majority of their effects in this one song. A True Tribute from a band that stands for the love of all people.
