    Gets Picked Up by CBS Sports
     
    Band winning over fans on Nickelback's European Tour
     
    Singles "Not Gonna Die" and "Fire and Fury" storming up radio charts


     
    Nashville, Tenn. (November 7, 2013) -
    While GRAMMY®-nominated and platinum-selling rockers Skillet are winning over sold out crowds and receiving encore requests throughout Nickelback's European tour, domestic audiences in the U.S. are enjoying the title track of their best-selling album RISE (Atlantic/Word) during CBS Sports' College Hockey Promos.     Additionally, their two new singles are storming up Mainstream and Christian radio charts. While "Not Gonna Die's" bullet status at Mainstream Active Rock radio has the track closing in on becoming a Top 20 hit, it's also shot to No. 4 on Christian Rock Radio in just four weeks. Likewise, "Fire and Fury" was the most added song and highest debut on the Christian Hot AC chart at No. 24 this week.
     
    Once Skillet wraps the Nickelback tour in late November, the band will head to Russia and the Ukraine once again before the holidays for several already nearly sold out headline shows. Early 2014, the band co-headlines The Roadshow 2014 tour with Third Day, kicking off January 9 in Sacramento, CA.

Skillet was the only active rock band to achieve RIAA Platinum Certification in 2012, and was one of only three rock bands (the other two being Mumford & Sons and The Black Keys) to strike platinum in 2012. Skillet is made up of John Cooper, Korey Cooper, Jen Ledger and Seth Morrison.
