Skillet - Comatose
Beautiful passions are truly an art form; this is one of those defining releases. Skillet is really on the top of their game with this surprisingly passionate, explosive, and guitar driven rock album. Comatose mentions a lot about life and pain, with a resounding message of faith and hope. This release is a mainstream one that still holds true to what Skillet believes.
It is between Modern Rock, Hard Rock, Rock, and samplings of violins, pianos, and electronics. The standout song(s) could easily be all of them.
A Rock record for Skillet that just breathes "hits." Decide for yourself and see if Comatose is an album for you. John's vocals speak of a passion of heartfelt lyrical content. This album shall make an impact, hopefully it will be profound. - Len Nash
