For me the monster is that side in me that wants to break loose and go back to a life of sin. I identify so strongly with this song because I deal with this monster every moment I'm awake. But every day I keep it in is a success. The only help is that Jesus was with me all along. And by praying, reading and STUDYING the bible I am able to have a moments piece away from this monster.
