I'm from West Virginia...not your typical teenage girl. My mission in life is to fall more deeply in love with Jesus with each passing day. I'm homeschooled, along with my sister and brother, and I plan to pursue a career in writing after graduating from high school. A few of my favorite things are Christian music (preferably Skillet and Jars of Clay, but I like countless other artists, too), Christian books, Cherry Coke, hockey (go, Colombus Blue Jackets!), and the 2010 Chevy Camaro. Oh, and did I mention that I'm the ultimate Panhead? ;-)

One Interesting Fact About Me Is...
I seem to stand out wherever I go. Over the years, I've had a difficult time making long-lasting friendships with kids my age, partly because I am homeschooled, and partly because I'm just what some people call weird. There's nothing wrong with me--I'm just...different. This fact used to bother me (and still does on occasion), but as I've grown older--both physically and spiritually--I've learned that standing out isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, as Christians, we are called to stand out. It's our mission, you might say. It's easy to blend in and go along with the crowd, even if it violates your beliefs, but it takes real willpower to stand up for what you believe and resist the flow of everyone else.
