hey man I just started takin guitar lessons last week and I'm takin them every Tuesday right now. I'm learning Rebirthing right now and right after I'm done learning it I'm gonna try and make a cover of it. And I'm also gonna try and have a cover posted in youtube for Sometimes sometime this week hopefully
yeah they were really nice people but skillet didn't show up it probally would've been crazy if they did lol but I got the VIP package so I got to see them front row and hav a question and answer session with them but oh yeah that might be a little expensive for me cuz I'm all the way up in Maryland
Hey there! Great to hear from you again! Pretty awesome that you got seats right next to the amplifiers! I can remember when Skillet went off stage right before intermission at our concert...my dad and I left my mom, little sis, and little bro in the seats while he and I went out to the concession stand, and even in the midst of all those people, I could tell my hearing was seriously muffled. I was like, "Dad, is this normal?" Because if it wasn't, I was afraid Skillet had permanently damaged my ears! LOL...it turns out they didn't. My dad says that's normal, because over twenty years ago, before he gave his life and heart to Jesus, he went to a lot of worldly rock concerts. And now that he's saved, he says that he seriously believes Skillet put on a better rock show than any of the secular bands! I thought that was awesome! Oh, and thanks for sending me the links to your videos on YouTube...hopefully we'll get high speed Internet connection here soon. Anyway, I'd better go. God bless you. TTYS. You are in my prayers!
Oh, that is so sad about your band! I was seriously disappointed when I read your reply a minute or so ago! But God can work wonders...connecting the dots in ways we never thought possible. And you got to see your first Skillet concert, huh? I bet it was AWESOME!!!!! My parents took me, my little sis, and my little bro to see them with tobyMac and House of Heroes during the Awake Tonight Tour on Friday, April 9, 2010, at seven o'clock! Yeah, I know...I have to be obsessed to remember all those details! LOL!! John's voice sounds way different in concert, doesn't it? Almost better, in my way of thinking. Though I'm more of a bookworm, I have a passionate love for music and a not-so-secret desire to learn how to play the guitar and piano. I would love to sing, but I doubt myself in that area. Besides, I don't really feel that God has called me to sing, although I think He may have some sort of plan for me in the musical arena in the future...maybe writing songs or perhaps--just maybe--backup singing for one of my favorite singers? I know, that's probably a long shot, but who knows....? Anyway, it's almost bedtime, and I have school tomorrow. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Have a blessed week, and comment back soon! ;-)

And then there's YouTube, but unfortunately, we don't have high-speed Internet where I live! :-( Which is a bummer, because I've missed out on a ton of Skillet podcasts, music videos, and other great features! Anyway, I thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing. Oh, did you ever find a bassist for the band yet?
You're in fall break?! Where do you live? I'm suprised that you're in fall break now. That's awesome! I'm happy that this week ended, it was stressfull and horrible. By the way, I had finished writing your lyric. Let me know when you want it (I rather that you give me a certain e-mail, it's been a long time that I have not used Youtube and I forgot the password).

yeah it's hard to find members but my dummer is actually a girl but she's a really good friend of mine and shes good at drums but yeah I'm about to go to guitar I'm gonna learn whispers in the dark tonight
yeah i love guitar and I've been trying to fine people to join but I stil need a bass player
Yeah they're pretty hard but my guitar teacher said for picking to just go up and down because it makes it easier and yeah and so is Seth its hard to try.and play guitar like them
yeah man me too i've learned the first couple of parts to the sold but some of the pull offs and hammer ons are confusing. I'm hopin to have the sometimes video up soon hopefully by Sunday

yeah I used to take lessons but I'm actually doing pretty good without them but I wanna take them so I can get better and hopefully have my own band.. I ca play some of whispers in the dark idk if i play the chorus correctly but the intro is fun to play
yeah man... and I play a lot of skillet stuff. i'm thinking of taking lessons b/c I need some more stuff to practice besides stuff I find off the internet lol
nice man.. i went to the awake and alive tour show in salisbury md and it was awesome i had front row seats and skillet was awesome like always. im doin pretty good i only got a week off of school though and yeah i know my names cool haha
