TTFN:)

WVPanhead's picture

I haven't heard from you in a while. I pray for you every day. So, how was the Third Day concert? I learned almost a week ago that Skillet will be headlining Winter Jam next year, and the first concert is in Charleston Civic Center--only two hours or so from where I live! My parents said we'll probably go, and my best friends are planning to as well. As you can probably imagine, I'm psyched!

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Hi Kenzie! How are you? It's been a somewhat exciting week so far for me. It's snowing heavily where I live currently and I am a big fan of winter/cold weather. Is it snowing in your area? Also, have you heard that Skillet is headlining Winterjam this year? They come to Reading, PA on January 26 and there's a good chance I'll be able to go. They also go to State College the next day I think. Hopefully, you'll have a chance to see them live at one of those two shows. The bad thing in my life right now is that I still have lots of school to catch up on. :( Anyway, does your church have summer and winter retreat/camp? My church does and I'll be going to winter retreat in early January. Since I'm kinda anti-summer,(yes, I'm weird) I probably won't ever go to the summer retreat(they go to Harvey Cedars Bible Camp) my church has. Well, I should go now. Have a good weekend. I'll talk to you again later.

KNIGHT's picture

Hey Kenzie!! I agree with everything you said:) I don't want to say too much because when you get back on you'll have a whole lot of comments to answer, lol.
TTFN:)

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie...how's it going? I've been pretty busy today...trying to do extra chores around the house in order to earn some money for Christmas shopping. We've been listening to Third Day a lot in my family today...I love the song "I Will Always Be True"! Anyway, I have several other people to reply to, and only a little time to do it before my mom needs the computer, so I've got to go. Blessings and prayers...Kristen.

Kristina Rhim's picture

u seem so busy! lol i am too. so i dont get much chance to go online and such

SkilletFan_7's picture

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that I probably wont be able to get online for awhile, but I'll try to reply to everyones comments the first chance I get to be able to get online!

KNIGHT's picture

Hey Kenzie!! Yes, I think Skillet is the best Christian band in concert these days:) Really? I'll have to check them out some time soon. You know when a new album comes out the members of the band always say that their favorite song changes everyday? Well that's never happened to me, I was always sure of which song was my favorite. Until I heard Switchfoot's Vice Verses and now For Those Who Wait! My favorite right now is Fire in my Eyes but Name was my favorite yesterday, it's crazy they're all so good!!! Thats too bad that you missed them in concert:( I think that Dawn Michele has the best Vocal talent of all the singers I've heard so far. In fact i'm sure of it!! No offence to John;) I also bought 2 Manafest songs: Fire in the Kitchen and Renegade. They are really great too, I think you might like them. So whats new with you? Did I mention that our church had a yard sale and we made about $2200! We use the money to send the kids to a summer camp in the summer, but my comment is getting long so i'll sign off now:)
TTFN:)

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Woah, the last comment got a little out-of-hand.

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Hey Kenzie! Well, I've fully recuperated from my sickness now. No more coughing, dizziness, and trouble remembering things. I wouldn't have had to miss so many days of school if I didn't have the last two symptoms. And thanks for praying for me. It feels good to have people on this site take time during their prayers to remember me. Also, my friend Brandon came over Friday night for a sleepover(I didn't even know until my mom told me Friday morning) and we actually were able to play laser tag at Laser Factory. It was great. We both played eight or nine rounds together and our team won all of them except the last one. :) Well, the Bible Bee competition is just about a month away. It really is cool that your sister is competing in it. Honestly, I would be way too nervous to enter the Bible Bee even though God has given me a special gift of being able to memorize verses with ease. Anyway, my parents saw the movie Fireproof a couple years ago. I think they liked it. Apparently, at the end of the movie, Kirk Cameron would only kiss his real wife so the people in charge of the movie or whoever had his wife come all the way to where they were filming and play that one part of the movie. I'm just paraphrasing since I don't know all the details. I think that's really cool that he would do that. Another cool thing is that his wife plays the character of Hattie Durham(the flight attendant and Nicole Carpathia's lover) in the Left Behind movies. Well, I have to go on to Knight's profile now. Talk to you again soon.

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie, great to hear from you! I'm so glad you're beginning to get the hang of Algebra...that's awesome!! So, the Third Day concert is a week and one day away...I guess you're pretty excited about that! I'm so happy for you! You should snap some photos and post them on your profile! I would have liked to post some of my Skillet/tobyMac concert photos on my profile, but unfortunately, I've overloaded my camera with too many commands at one time and caused it to wipe out my memory card. I was frustrated, but thank God that I'd already developed a few of them at the kiosk at Wal-Mart! :-) Anyway, I have to get off here so my brother and sister can use the computer. I'll talk to you later this weekend...or maybe tonight...either way, TTYS, and God bless you! You are continually in my prayers!

KNIGHT's picture

Hi Kenzie!! I'm sure she'll do fine:) Thats awesome that you're going to see Third Day live!! I hadn't heard of them until I joined this site and i've still never heard any of their music but I saw that they won a grammy award so they must be good! My Dad said I can go ahead and enter the Bible Bee next year!!! I can't wait!! Have you ever heard of Fireflight? They were nominated for a grammy award on only their third album! They lost to Switchfoot though, but I finally got their album For Those Who Wait. It's really good, they might be my third favorite band next to Skillet and Switchfoot! I have to go now
TTFN:)!

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie. That is beyond AWESOME that you are going to see Third Day!!!!! Have we heard of them before? Oh, yes!!!!!!!! Before I heard Skillet, they were my favorite band, and even though she likes Skillet, my mom's favorite band is Third Day! We sing their songs "Born Again" and "Sound of Your Voice" (the second track was used in Courageous...how awesome is that!?) in church. Oh, and we sing "Blessed Assurance" and "Love Song" by them in church, too! I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting others...LOL! They actually came to our state a few months ago...Charleston, our state capital city. I so wanted to go, but it turns out we didn't get to make it. Other than John Cooper, I think the lead singer Mac Powell has the most unique male voice I've ever heard...It's like you can hear him singing on the radio and automatically know it's him! Well, I'm starting to do better in Chemistry...it's still hard, but God is helping me, I believe. How's it going with the Algebra? I loved Algebra 1...it was Algebra 2 that I didn't like. Back then, I didn't rely on God to help me as much...now I realize that He cares even about school, and I ask His Spirit to help me on tests and everything. And He does, too! We really do serve an awesome God! Anyway, I have a few other online friends to get back with, so I've got to go. I'll talk to you later...God bless you! ;-)

KNIGHT's picture

Hi Kenzie!!! Oh yes, all around it was a pretty phenomenal movie!! Oh thats cool that your youth group will help her out! My youth group is starting to get off the ground, one girl is doing a play at her school and we're all going to go down there and support her! Then when we get back we're going to watch a movie called Believe in Me. I've never heard of it before, it's about a girl's basketball team is all our youth paster told us. I think i'm going to enter the Bible Bee next year! My Mom says she's all for it but I haven't brought it across my Dad yet. I hope he says I can though, allright I have to go now. Oh by the way, do you know what TTFN means?
TTFN:)

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie, I just thought I'd let you know that I just got back from...the theater! My family and I finally went to see Courageous this evening, and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was totally impressed, and now I just told my little sis that on my Skillet profile I have to change my What's Your Favorite Movie Or TV Show? slot from Fireproof to Courageous!!! LOL. I fought tears throughout most of the movie, but it had some really hilarious parts too...like when the two police officers were hauling away the one crook with the Hispanic guy in the backseat. Man, I had a hard time to stop laughing! (And so did the rest of the theater, for that matter!) I'd better not say anything else, though, in case others who haven't yet seen the movie find your profile and read my comment. I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone! Anyway, TTYL, and God bless you throughout this week! You are in my prayers! =D

WVPanhead's picture

Okay, so I just went back to my profile and saw that you commented again! Now it's getting weird...in a cool way! We're talking back and forth and don't even know it...until now!

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, you were on my profile, like, a minute ago. I don't believe we've ever come that close to actually talking at the same time before! Cool! I just got back from a crazy day at Wal-Mart (okay, so not crazy, but DEFINITELY very hectic). I'm quite tired...but never too tired to check my profile! LOL. Everyone is talking about "Courageous"...I wish I could see it! :-( Sadly, though, I probably won't get the opportunity before it comes out on DVD. Bummer. Oh, and I forgot to answer your question about the Skillet DVD last night. No, we didn't watch "Comatose Comes Alive" like I'd hoped...my cousin (age 7) wanted to flip through the channels and watch "The Upside Down Show." Oh well, we had fun anyway. Well, thanks for praying for me...I like your attitude when it comes to algebra. God will empower us both to accomplish things we never imagined we'd accomplish. (What a comforting thought!)

WVPanhead's picture

Oh, and sorry for such another long comment. My sister jokes that I don't type comments...instead, she says that I type everyone a "novel"! TTYL.

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie. So great to hear from you! No, I haven't gotten to see "Courageous" yet! :*{ I talked to my friend at church tonight (I think I may have already told you that we have church on Thursday night...which probably sounds weird, considering most people do mid-week services on Wednesday evenings, but that's always how it's been for New Hope Victory Center), and she didn't get to see it either! :-( She LOVES Casting Crowns...they're her favorite band...she's not too fond of Skillet. LOL...a lot of people aren't, but that's okay. As long as we like them, that's all the matters, right? As for your algebra...hey, I feel for you. I just wrapped up the Algebra 2 course last spring, and I was beyond glad to be finished! Now I'm working on Geometry, but that's not so hard, although solving "deductive proofs" can be tough and time-consuming. Chemistry is my most challenging subject this year...remember me in your prayers. It's going to take God's grace to get me through that course! LOL, but I'm serious. Anyway, I'd better go, because I have to get to bed to get up early tomorrow morning, and there's a few other webpages I'd like to check out before my bedtime. Well, TTYL and God bless you!

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Hello Kenzie! I haven't been on here much because.................I got the flu from my siblings last Thursday. Yeah, my immune system has been strong but I've been due for some sickness sometime. I'm still suffering from a few of the symptoms but I have pretty much recuperated. :) But school is kind of mess now so I'll really have to have the determination to catch up with my homework. I can't afford to completely skip the days I missed so please pray that God will give me the strength to accomplish this. I would very much appreciate it. Anyway, my friend hasn't been able to come over the last two weeks like planned but he's definitely scheduled to come over this Saturday. I'm not sure what we'll be doing but it will be good to see him after three months without him visiting. We have been friends since our toddler days(2-3 years old). That's about 11 years! And I saw that on one of your posts on Knight's profile and on his post below me that you're going to meet Kirk Cameron at the Bible Bee Nationals! That's so awesome! I know he's a very popular Christian actor and evangelist. The Left Behind movies are where I first found out about him. Okay, I gotta head to someone else's profile now haha. Talk to you later.

KNIGHT's picture

Oh yeah, when I saw Kirk Cameron was going to be in Fireproof couldn't wait to see it! How is your sister doing with her memory verses? Your going to meet Kirk Cameron?!?!?! WHOA!! That is so cool! Oh no Bibleman was a home network show I watched when I was little, I was just wondering if you had heard of it. I have to eat dinner now and sign off.
TTFN!!:)

KNIGHT's picture

Hey Kenzie!! Oh, don't worry about it!!:) We're all busy, forget it:) Thank you so much for telling me about Courageous, I wouldn't have known it was out until came out on dvd. I mentioned it to my Mom and told her Kevin Downes was in there, and she jumped up and took me to the theaters with her to see it! She says thank you for telling us:) It was such a good movie! It was hands down the best movie Sherwood Picturs made, but I think it was one of the best films of the year!! Probably THE best film, good movies are rare these days we don't even go to the movies anymore. So I was really excited to see this and it was super good!! It was hilarious at times and some times it was very sad. Then when they had that shootout at the end I was really surprised by that!

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie! I haven't heard from you in a while. I hope everything's all right.

skillet97's picture

yeah me too i know they're working on one now I can't wait for it my other favorite band Nickelback is coming out with one in november and yeah i hope I can go

KNIGHT's picture

Hi Kenzie!!! Thanks for praying for me! Hey I checked out Courageous online, I didn't know Kevin Downes was in there!!! He's one of my favorite actors! I always said that the Kendricks should get some of the end-time movie actors like David AR White or Kevin Downes. They got Kirk Cameron on Fireproof, I thought that was a great idea and he did a great job! Have you ever seen the movie The Moment After? That was the first time I saw Downes and David White, it's a really good end-time movie! Left Behind with Kirk Cameron is really good too, better than The Moment After in my opinion:) By the Way. Have you ever heard of Bibleman?
TTFN:)!!!

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie. Well, praise the Lord that I am no longer sick--just trying to cope with mild allergies, which is a totally different story. You got to see "Courageous"? AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have wanted to see that movie like...forever! Okay, so maybe not forever, but I really want to see it before it leaves theaters. One of my really good friends from church (actually, she's an adult and older than both of my parents, but we're still really close) plans on seeing it this weekend while she and her husband go out of town for a business trip. Have you seen the Casting Crowns "Courageous" music video for the movie? AMAZING!!!!!!!! This week, my other cousin is staying all night. She and my younger sister are arguing about whether or not my sister's "magic" cards are real "magic." And my cousin is also a Panhead, thanks to me and my sister. LOL. She got hooked on Skillet by hearing the song "Monster" and watching the music video over and over...and over...and over...and over...and we see where this is headed. :) Anyway, I'm thinking about getting the "Comatose Comes Alive" DVD out so we can watch it while we go to sleep. So, how's school this week? I had a pretty good week (other than the day when I got really, really sick). Chemistry is hard, but I enjoy U.S. History. I'd better sign off, because as of right now my comment has only 628 characters remaining. LOL...sorry for such a long comment. TTYL, and God bless you.

PanheadgirlLaura's picture

hmmm..... i will have to look that movie up...

PanheadgirlLaura's picture

School, horse, homeschool party, and random other things!!! what about u? i have a really busy weekend!!! Fun!!!

PanheadgirlLaura's picture

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie. Wow, you sound a lot like me--hectic school schedule and all. Yeah, we had a blast with my cousins--even at such a young age, they are so funny. Sorry it took me so long to get back--I was really sick yesterday, but praise the Lord that I'm much better today. Still not completely myself, but I'm not running a fever or hurting from a sore throat. Well, even though school's over, I still have some geometry homework to complete and some jobs to do, so TTYL.

KNIGHT's picture

HELLO KENZIE!!! Yes it's too bad about basketball:( but there is always hope:) Oh wow I didn't know that the Kendricks made another movie! And thats so cool that Casting Crowns had a song at the end! I'll have to see Courageous when it comes out. And Switchfoot's new album ROCKS! There is a lot of truth in their songs. I have to go now. TTFN:)

KNIGHT's picture

Hi Kenzie! The ground is nearly dry here:) I haven't been doing too much, we got Switchfoot's new album Vice Verses. personally, I think it might be better than their last album which won a grammy award for best Rock/Rap Gospel album! I've also been training for basketball season but I just learned that unfortunatley since i'm homeschooled I won't be able to participate in any highschool basketball seasons:( There aren't any homeschool basketball groups near me but it's alright,my Dad said that we could see if any neighboring towns will let me play with their school teams! I'm sure we can find someone:) So what up with you?
TTFN:)

skillet97's picture

yeah I hope so too not a lot of bands like skillet come around here but bands do come to Rams Head Live a lot and I'm hoping to ee halestorm there december 29 but I hope skillet comes around MD more often espeaciall when they release a new album

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

I had a blast Sunday night playing different games that involved the blow gun! Capture the Flag was one of them, Death Match,( the team to knock out all the players on the opponent's team wins) and a game where we have to guide a person on our respective teams past the other team's goal line without that particular person getting hit. Both teams were allowed to use numerous chairs to construct a fortress as a defense. They also had snacks and water. I pretty much just drank water. I was even able to score a point for my team but I don't know which team won. They decided not to keep score. The funniest part was when they played a game(only for a few minutes) where a person walked across a long line of other kids shooting at them continually. One boy took his shirt off and accomplished it haha. And another time two kids with another two kids on their respective shoulders(with three of them shirtless haha) made it across. So much yelling and laughing. So all in all, it was definitely worth the sacrifice of the little bit of homework I needed to finish. But that's the beauty of being homeschooled. I just finished it the next day and even had my best week of school so far. :) Well, I will talk to you again later. Have a good weekend.

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Hello Kenzie! I'm going to start saying your name now. :) I'm glad that you're feeling better and that you got to see the movie. Is your cough better yet? I haven't been sick since August 2010. It's amazing how strong my immune system has been. I've noticed that I have been getting sick fewer times each year in the last few years. :) And I've been doing fine. Thanks for asking. School has been much better for me this week. How about you? I'm not sure my friend will be coming over tomorrow because things have been crazy at our house recently and my parents have been extremely busy. If he does, he'll just be visiting to play videogames, play football, etc..... No laser tag. :( But we will get to play laser tag soon, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. :) And I'm still praying for your sister. It's good that she has a decent amount of time to prepare for the event. Okay, I will make another post and tell you about the Nerf blow gun battle.

WVPanhead's picture

Oh, and like you, I'm sorry for such a long comment!
;-)

WVPanhead's picture

Oh, hey, Kenzie. Seriously, no problem--about the long comment, I mean. Trust me, I've probably sent you even longer ones...LOL! I'm not doing much tonight. My mom, siblings, and I took a trip to Wal-Mart today for groceries, and the store is about an hour away...I am so tired and ready to relax. And what better way than to reply to all my Skillet web-friends?! My second cousins (age five and three) are spending the night, and my brother has been going around almost all day singing "Rippin' Me Off" from Skillet's album, "Alien Youth." He LOVES the beginning, even though we can't understand what John is saying...Right now, he and the second cousins are ransacking my sister's old toy box (talk about a mess--LOL!). I'd better sign off. TTYL.

PastFighter's picture

Oh, I can't wait to see FireFlight this year on Winter Jam. WOOOOOHOOOO!

PastFighter's picture

Yeah, I had been listening to R3D for a long time, I have started listening to Disciple and Demon Hunter for the last couple of months. Underoath is my #1 on my favorite list. Is a metalcore band, by the way. I have listen to FireFlight, TobyMac, and Kutless for some time. I heard of Newsboys in Winter Jam 2011, and I don't like them. In my point of view, they're bit show-off. Now I'm obssessed with R3D, Underoath and Sent By Ravens.

skillet97's picture

yeah i know they dont come around MD too much :(

WVPanhead's picture

Hey, Kenzie! What's new? Oh, my goodness! You got to see Francesca Battistelli perform? That is AWESOME! My sister and I love her music! Does her voice sound different in concert? I love her song "Blue Sky." What's your favorite by her? Oh, tobyMac puts on a rockin' show, but I must say Skillet was my favorite. You didn't get to see his show? Bummer. His best song in concert tied somewhere between "Tonight" (John Cooper came on stage during that track!) and "City on Our Knees." TTYL.
