About Me:
Well, I am a fifteen-year-old born again Christian who loves the Lord, Skillet, other Christian music, video games, the NFL, and numerous other things. I will be forever grateful to Skillet for their amazing music, which has helped me cope during my most difficult trials! They truly helped me return to God back in 2009 when my perspective of life was non-existent. Although I may appear extroverted on this site, I'm pretty much the complete opposite in person. My dream occupation is to follow in the footsteps of much of my family and become an engineer in a technological field such as megatronics. My main goal in life, however, is to serve and obey the Lord and be a light in this dark and jaded world! TV Shows: I seldom watch television anymore, but some of my favorite shows in the past were Spongebob Squarepants(not for children, all you misinformed ones), Drake and Josh, and various game shows on GSN.
What's Your Favorite Book?:
"Left Behind The Kids" by Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins and the Holy Bible
One Interesting Fact About Me Is...:
First and foremost, I'm a Grammar Nazi, so expect to be corrected occasionally if your writing contains errors! :) I began writing lyrics to Skillet songs in chronological order in a notebook a couple of years ago. I haven't finished it yet because I can be a slacker sometimes. My knowledge of the NFL is exceedingly deep for a teenager. The first Skillet song I heard was "The Last Night" in June 2009 on my dad's iPod. These are four interesting facts about me in case you didn't notice.

Arrggh stupid auto-correct on my iPod...
But yeah I just came up with that randomly. that's me at 9:26 in the morning for ya :P

GeneralforJesus's picture

Probably after Christmas...it's weird, i know.
I can do that! :P

GeneralforJesus's picture

Yes, let's! :)
Cookies...? Hmmm...well, we haven't baked any cookies yet. We bake cookies, like, a few days before Christmas.
That is so cool! :]

That's the only thing about the amazing success of "Comatose" that frustrates me: It's kind of become the measuring stick for Skillet's music. It was a monumental record for them--arguably their best work, so far--and I do understand why people would prefer it over "Awake." Still, I really enjoyed "Awake," even if I do admit that "Comatose" would be my favorite of the two. ;-)

On Christmas break now, huh? Awesome! Did you get any snow off Winter Storm Draco, as the Weather Channel dubbed it?

Come to think of it, I haven't heard much about Jason's solo work, either, although JesusfreakHideout released a 38-track Volume 2 of their collection, "Songs We've Been Trying to Tell You About (And Others We Haven't)." It's a free download, and track 34 (yes, track 34!) is "Second Chances (B-Side)" by Jason Dunn. I haven't downloaded either of the two massive musical compilations, but here's the link if you're interested:

I've noticed that you and Cole have been busy with the Panhead Awards for 2012. I'm really looking forward to that.

So, are you excited about Christmas Eve, a mere two days away?

Comatose53's picture

I don't bandwagon... I just follow the teams that I won't have to go through bad times with. :P ;)

seeandbelieve's picture

Near and far, wherever you are, you will always be a pan head :D :P

seeandbelieve's picture

Thanks :) I'm really happy about that :]

Stormbringer's picture

It's been an up and down month to say the least but I've still got my sanity lol. How have you been?

seeandbelieve's picture

Yeah :) I'm really glad I met all of you on this site. I mean, my depression would probably be much worse without you guys...

seeandbelieve's picture

That's true... It's just really hard for me to focus on that this year. But I will try :)

seeandbelieve's picture

Yeah, kind of.

seeandbelieve's picture

Haha aww. But okay, that sounds fine :)

seeandbelieve's picture

Haha yep :D so are you excited for Christmas?

seeandbelieve's picture

Haha! Yeah, I'mreally like that with everyone, though. I just like to love others :]

W.V.Panhead's picture

Awesome to hear from you! Thanks...my sister created my avatar. I saw that I'm nominated for Best Profile Pic...pretty cool!

Yes, I found JesusfreakHideout in the early autumn of 2011. I love the artist profiles and interviews--especially Skillet and Jars of Clay. Although I wasn't too impressed with their review of "Awake." :P I'm kind of curious to see how HN goes now that Jason left to do solo work. I liked the "Made" cover art.

Music and video games, huh? I asked for music and books. Sound like last year to you? Some things never change!

Are you on Christmas vacation yet?

seeandbelieve's picture

Awesome! I love ya :P and by that, well, you know what I mean. :p

Comatose53's picture

Yes, they did. LA won in 2012, Chicago got it in 2010, and Pittsburgh and Detroit split the 2009-2008 titles, respectively. :)

seeandbelieve's picture

I'm actually in a better mood than earlier, does there happen to be a song that fits that? :P

seeandbelieve's picture

I like that idea a lot :) thanks.

seeandbelieve's picture

Wow, that was beautiful. I've been really anxious lately, and I really needed to stop and listen to that. It helped my anxiety a lot :]

seeandbelieve's picture

Yeah, it is true, and it would only make sense... But anyhoo...

seeandbelieve's picture

That's true. But I just decided to try it myself one day, and it seemed to help a lot. So, that's why I do it. :/

seeandbelieve's picture

Yes, and she's helped a lot lately..
I only started at the end of October, so I haven't been doing it for very long. No, no one specifically has influenced me... Why?..

Comatose53's picture

Better late than never. :P

Thanks!

seeandbelieve's picture

Yeah... I mean, it's like an escape from my problems. I know it's not good for me, but it's just so hard to stop :'(

seeandbelieve's picture

Well, why do you think people do it?..

seeandbelieve's picture

Okay, I'll try that.
Well, I guess not. I mean, you said you don't really understand why people do that to themselves, so I was just going to help you out, but, it doesn't really matter.

seeandbelieve's picture

I cant get it to play :(
And, I saw your conversation with lily today...

CarpetBakr's picture

Hey, how's it going?

W.V.Panhead's picture

Hey, Luke. I remember that you really liked Hawk Nelson's music, and I found an article on JesusfreakHideout about their new album. I thought you might be interested. Here's the link:

JesusFreako8's picture

Hi Luke!! How are you doing?

W.V.Panhead's picture

Haha...nope, I'm pretty sure I put female on mine. So, how's it going, Luke? Excited about Christmas?

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

Is my profile the only one that reveals the gender?

GeneralforJesus's picture

Thanks Luke. It means a lot to me...though I am mostly told by some people that i'm not sensitive at all...which is funny. Most of the time people tell me I get too angry...over simple things. :) I'm glad that you're happy i'm a new member on the site and enjoying myself...I've been on Skillet.com for a whole month now and I feel pretty good about it.

Ah, yes...the BfMV thing. I guess I feel a little ashamshed of liking their music...and I wasn't saying anything against you. Besides, I really don't think they matter anymore to me because I haven't been listening to them at all lately. I think that's a good thing. :)

Thanks Luke, and I'm sure sometime we will be great freinds. :)

CarpetBakr's picture

Hey, how's it going with your Dad? Is he recovering well?

seeandbelieve's picture

Yeah, trying..
Haha aww. But that's still cool, my mom's is on the 14th :P

seeandbelieve's picture

Hey, Luke, when's your birthday?

GeneralforJesus's picture

Hey Luke. I just wanted to ask you if we got off on a rocky start. Like, if I was too tempermental for you or something. You seem a little tense when talking to me. I'm sorry if I did anything wrong.

DJ Rocker's picture

yeah i went. i used to live in reading, so all my good friends are there so i just went with them

seeandbelieve's picture

Aww, that must have sucked :/

Yeah, I mean, I've been going through so much emotionally lately, and I just can't handle it anymore. I just don't know what to do anymore.

seeandbelieve's picture

Have you ever felt like giving up before? If you know what I mean?

seeandbelieve's picture

Luke, ...can I ask you a question?..

Skilletfanrocker's picture

Hey man how are you?

CarpetBakr's picture

Sure, whatever. ^-^ I just happen to love the show and the fandom, that's all. I was joking, by the way; I know for sure you'd rather eat cat hair than watch My Little Pony. XD
Well, it was just an analogy. Of course, I never meant to put the two on the same level!

Hmm, well, I've really been wanting CCA. I haven't got the album yet, just the Youtube download, which is a rather mediocre quality. That, and the soundtrack from the Phantom of the Opera at The Royal Albert Hall (25th Anniversary). :P My friend and I are in an argument as to who is a better Phantom, Gerard Butler or Ramin Karimloo. I already have the POTO movie soundtrack, I just need the 25th Anniversary to really be able to compare them. XP
How about yourself?

CarpetBakr's picture

Yep, it is VERY peculiar! :P
Well, its crazy, right? We normally don’t have that many people…and our house isn’t meant to have a lot, either. Ah well, its always fun to have relatives over (the exception being Brookelyn, evidently).
Ah ah ah, you’d be surprised! I figured I’d hate it, being too girly and-come on, what kind of plot would it have? But after the first episode it completely blew me away at how much I liked it! :P theoretically, it’s not even a show I’d like. I’m into Science Fiction shows like Falling Skies, Iron Man: Armoured Adventures, X-Men, The Walking Dead, etc. and yet…
Really? I’m surprised you didn’t know about the Bronies. There are a lot of them in my area. Heck, almost all my friends are Pegasisters and Bronies!! XD
Well, actually…The ones who have problems are the ones that make fanfictions and memes, fan art, etc., about the ponies being gay, and basically attempting to ruin the show’s reputation by presenting them like that. They’ve endured a LOT of heck from people who think they’re gay themselves, and for the most part, tolerate it well.
But I see what you mean; they do sometimes take things seriously, like I just did. Lol! XD

GeneralforJesus's picture

My Little Pony? I've seen too many Bronies where I live...it's insane! I understand why they like it 'cause i've seen the show before...but i'm not saying I like ii!

CarpetBakr's picture

By the way, a Brony/Pegasister can have pride by declaring their love for an amazing TV show about Friendship and all the awesomeness that comes with it in the way that a Christian can declare his/her love for Christ in not being afraid to state their passion; especially in this generation today in which it almost always brings criticism and discord.

seeandbelieve's picture

Hey, today I looked up those Tobymac songs you told me about. They made me feel better :)

Stormbringer's picture

Maybe.

seeandbelieve's picture

Thank you. :) goodnight, Luke.
