Julia, I'm extremely
Julia, I'm extremely opinionated in case you haven't noticed. But this time, I am just gonna leave the subject alone. I get in more disputes/disagreements than anyone else on this site, and it is wearing me out! The overwhelming feeling I receive from my major conflict with Christina to my disagreement with Brookelyn is almost more than I can tolerate... I'm apologizing for the third time because I wanna make sure I didn't hurt you.
*sigh* I don't understand why
*sigh* I don't understand why you formed these opinions independently, but I'm just not gonna bother explaining anything. It's not my responsibility.
I'm sorry. :( Well, since you
I'm sorry. :( Well, since you say that, I'll inform you of a few things. It may not change your perspective on this subject, but you certainly appear to be buying into the bogus claims of the media. I have to think about how to explain it though so give me some time...
Sounds as if you haven't read
Sounds as if you haven't read the Bible quite honestly. That is an environmentalist's mentality, which I detest.

Hey, I wanted to talk to you
Hey, I wanted to talk to you about DJ Rocker. I read you and Cole's conversation on the Goodmorning discussion, and all I can say is that I'm pretty sad that he feels that way. :( I wrote a short comment on there by the way. Please inform him that I would never bully or belittle him. He needs to know that we all love him despite the trouble he caused that one day. Seriously, I'm completely over that. Anyway, he'll be in my prayers because I read that he has terrible nightmares. :( Talk to you later, Julia.

Hey Julia! I'd love to have that much snow in our area! :D
You're welcome. :) Hey, at least you didn't mind. I dread vomiting! There are unpleasant memories tied to my doing that as a child. :(

Yeah, I really see your point in all this. But again, Christian bands probably don't desire to do that. And if they did, no one could really relate to it.
What if Skillet knocked on your front door tonight?
To be honest, I think they
To be honest, I think they may receive criticism for doing that. People might assume that they are worshipping other people. Just saying...
Well, they probably don't
Well, they probably don't have a yearning whatsoever to sing about those Bible characters. What will they say anyway? And whether the song lyrics are worshipful or desperate, they are going to sing to or about God because that is what they desire. Now, I've heard a few songs in which John the Baptist was mentioned.
"there was a man in the
"there was a man in the desert with naps in his head, the sand that he walked was also his bed. The words that he spoke made the people assume there wasn't too much left in the upper room. With skins on his back and hair on his face, they thought he was strange by the locusts he ate. You see the pharisees tripped when they heard him speak until the king took the head of this Jesus Freak"

We foster all different
We foster all different breeds but mostly mutts! We started with the organization 2 years ago and got puppies from a kill shelter in New Mexico that had a 93% kill rate of dogs kept there and due to lack of fosters could only take back like 15 puppies a week. Now we take around 60 a week and the organization has saved 281 this year and over 1,000 puppies! But we also take in full sized dogs and do everything and take in strays and we have had a couple times where people just leave boxes of puppies by a river or at a gas station and we take them! We also now take some from a kill shelter in Kansas. I am very excited to say we have got the NM kill rate from 93% to 54% with just our organization! (RMPR)!!
Hello, Julia! As I was just
Hello, Julia! As I was just saying--or rather, typing--on Ellie's profile, it has been far too long since I talked with my friends from Skillet.com!
So, how are you doing these days? Enjoying your summer vacation? :D
I checked out the links you gave me, and I believe that the birds nesting outside our house resembled the tufted titmouse (I hope I remember that correctly...I apologize if otherwise), although they didn't have that brush of orangish-yellow near their legs. The baby birds are long gone by now--they stayed around for quite a while this year! We believe that the first one got knocked out of the nest, because it was about twenty-four hours before it finally flew off the ground. The rest continued to grow until finally, the nest could contain them no longer. Now the nest looks lonely, but we hope the parent birds will return next spring.
Yeah, No Word=No Growth. I've been figuring that out lately. ;-) I've been really digging into the Word the past couple of mornings. I'm ashamed to admit that I'd been neglecting it for several weeks now. And I missed it. But I felt God leading me to the book of John; I know there's something in there that He wants me to get. Yeah, my dad and mom are pastors of our church. We actually have church in our house right now (not sure if you already knew that or not), but we've been in the process of erecting a building.
Man, I wish I could watch the Finals right now! But our local channels (including NBC) fade out in the summer due to trees on the mountainside blocking the satellite feed. I've been trying to keep up with the series online, though.
No, I haven't read that one, but I have been busy with the books lately. Reading until my eyes ache...yep, that's me. ;-) I recently caught some books on sale and added them to my collection. One-hundred-twenty-nine...my new goal is 200! But I'm running out of room!
Scratch the NRT thing. The
Scratch the NRT thing. The album will likely leak on the 22nd, as those attending Alive Festival will apparently be able to buy the album.
I see... I know how that
I see... I know how that feels, as it happened to me in both seventh and eighth grade. Stay diligent!
Not Gonna Die has already become one of my favorite Skillet songs, a fact that is almost unbelieveable considering my obstinacy towards non-Comatose songs breaking my top five haha. The song is classic Skillet--progressive and atmospheric, with heavy strings and a guitar solo!
Huh, I remember seeing the original design for Sora before. That's right, he wasn't completely human haha. Hmm, I think the Keyblade makes for a less violent a weapon than a chainsaw sword. Gotta keep the game child-friendly. ;)
Only eight more days! (However, it's possible that Newreleasetuesday will let us stream the album this week--just saying...)
Hey Julia! It's great to meet
Hey Julia! It's great to meet you too!
The forums, thus far, have been great! You guys have created such an awesomely diverse community, joined by a love for one of the greatest bands of our time! It's been great meeting everyone! As for Rise, I cannot describe how excited I am for this album! I should probably be more patient....but 4 years is such a long time for a Panhead to wait!

Hello, Julia! :-) I saw
Hello, Julia! :-) I saw your comment on my profile a couple of days ago, but as you can probably see, I haven't been on Skillet.com much these days. It's been so crazy lately--I mean, the last week and a half have been some of the most unusual, hectic, random days of my life. Graduation means finding the new normal. :P
I live in West Virginia. I don't think bluebirds are native to this region, although one chilly October day back in 2009, I saw one outside my grandma's home. It was beautiful and exquisite. From your three descriptions, I would guess that it was more than likely an Eastern bluebird. I figure it was probably just passing through on its migration south.
Only one of the sparrow's five eggs hatched. The baby bird was growing so strong and healthy, but it fell out of the nest and died. :'( The mother sparrow removed one of the other eggs, we think; then she abandoned the nest to build another in a different bush.
The other one might be a grey catbird, although I've actually never heard of those before. She and her mate have been coming to nest in the exact same spot (between the top bend of a gutter and the brick of our house) for several years now. But we've never seen any other birds of this particular species in our area. Actually, some of her birds flew away yesterday. They're so cute! They have a mature, developed appearance, and yet they're still miniatures of their parents. There are still about three or four left, though. I think there were probably six or seven eggs to begin with.
Don't worry about going off on a tangent, as you said! I really enjoyed reading about the birds, actually! :D
You're so right about the Word. My dad/pastor says that the more we read of the Word, the more God's Spirit can reveal to us and help us grow. He sums it up like this: "No Word = No Growth."
Well, it looks like the 'Hawks came out on top. :-) Columbus came so painfully close this time--they had enough points to make it in, but that dreadful ROW tiebreaker rendered it for naught as far as the SC playoffs go. So, are you nervous? Excited? Thrilled beyond words? A little bit of everything? :D Hockey's such an amazing sport!
Well, my comment has grown MUCH longer than I had originally anticipated. I had better go. You have a blessed day/week/month, too, Julia! ;-)

Thanks and it's funny I've heard everybody say that Iron Man 3 is awesome but I on the other hand think it looks really generic but hey I haven't seen it yet so.....I guess I'm excited about the upcoming star wars movies but the fact that the series is continuing doesn't really register with me since it's been over for so long.
So....Cool....I'm...in awe...
So....Cool....I'm...in awe....Harrison Ford as Graff, Asa looks good as Ender, So....EPIC!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT! I love the Ender Series...not as much as you....but close :p

I'm not doing too bad, how about you?
Hahahaha I knoooowww!!! X] and i like yours, too!! its so preeettyyyyy...

Sounds like you guys had an amazing time! :D We used to have a dog who absolutely loved getting new toys at Christmastime, but he died about ten years ago. Now we have our cat, Tabby, but she is much more toned down than our dog (he was rather high-strung and obnoxious at times).
Haha...that was good! Actually, the May flowers really are springing forth. So much foliage and beauty coming to life now. We have three different birds making nests on our property this year--a sparrow in a tall hedge bush by our driveway (she's laid five brown speckled eggs now!), a robin high up in our maple tree, and a slender gray bird (not sure which particular species she is, but she's beautiful) between the gutter and the brick siding our of our house. That last bird and her mate have been coming to nest in the same spot now for several years now. It's wonderful to watch them build their nests and raise their little families.
Exactly. I told myself yesterday that--whether I could focus easily or not--it was time to get back to "work" (at this season in my life, reading is what I do to be productive, so I don't really count it as leisure). I could see that merely drifting was too easy to fall into as a daily pattern, so I decided to make myself sit down and read in every book that I have currently going. And it was fun, really. But towards evening, I started getting restless again, so I finally put the books back in my purple plastic bin and got my journal out instead.
Wow...thank you for your words of wisdom, Julia. That Scripture is perfect for where I am right now, and I never even realized it before. The future is scary, but my mom said that maybe I'm just not trusting God enough. I told her that she was probably right. Like you said, He's already got it all figured out--He had it all lined out before I was even born. Still, trusting in that is hard sometimes.
Oh, man, don't you hate watching your team fall like that? Well, not really hate, because, I mean, you love your team and want to support them through thick and thin. But still, after they've been playing so well for so long, it is hard to watch them have an off-night. Yeah, I've played hockey with my siblings before. I'm a pretty bad goalie, but I'm an even worse center. :P
"Eye On It" was one of the best albums tobyMac has released since "Portable Sounds," I believe. "Tonight" was great, but I only connected with a few songs on that record. It just didn't minister to me as much. But I think "Eye On It" was unique in its concept; tobyMac is not only a great singer, but also a great songwriter, too. We really like "Forgiveness" and "Speak Life." My mom says there are some strong messages within those two songs, especially.
And no worries about the long comments...I love them--reading them and writing them! Actually, you can probably tell that from this particular comment, huh? :P
Very much so, my sweet! :)

Hi!! guess what? I've been studying birds in my bio class and its awesome!! and (dont freak out!!) I dissected a sparrow :P so whats up with you? xP :]
I do enjoy the weekly
I do enjoy the weekly discovery of new birds and of course I've been talkative on the site but I mean like in person I don't talk as much.
I can't wait to see what you
I can't wait to see what you come up with. I've been decent the last few months though I also noticed that I've been less talkative.
Sounds like you've been
Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun! I'm glad to hear that you--and Bitsy--are doing so well! :D
Spring fever? Yes! It's beautiful. Though tomorrow is the beginning of May, here in West Virginia, we're only now starting to see the deep, lush foliage. Winter was by no means harsh, but it did seem to hang around longer than usual. Now, however, spring has burst forth, and daylight is sticking around much longer. :D
Thank you for your concern. :-) Actually, other than school, I haven't done much reading these past few days. I'm just experiencing a lot of new thoughts and feelings right now, and I feel that I just need to slow down for a while and process all of this. Life has changed a lot--not necessarily for the worse, of course--over the past six or so months, and I'm just trying to absorb and make sense of it all.
Graduation is inching ever closer. It is bittersweet to see this chapter in my life come to a close, but being homeschooled, I won't really have to say goodbye to my classmates and teacher. :P I feel grateful that being homeschooled has given me such a close bond with my family--especially my parents. As for college, I'm still not certain, although I have a vague idea of what I might do concerning that. I got my ACT scores back today, so that gives me a little more direction, I suppose. I do know that I want to be a novelist--I'm just not certain that I really want to go to college as part of the journey there.
Yeah, the end of hockey season really affected me this weekend. I feel as though I've been going through withdrawal...haha. I was counting on some playoff games for the Jackets, so to see Saturday's game be the last was rather unexpected. Oh, well...the emotional rollercoaster of being a sports enthusiast. :P Like I always say--life was a lot less complicated before I got into hockey!
You haven't changed your
You haven't changed your picture in awhile.
No problem. I've been busy,
No problem. I've been busy, too, with school and trying to juggle seven different books on my current reading roster (it's been a long time since I've fallen behind on my novels like this). And, yes, I'm glad most of the seniors are still here. I have less than three weeks of school left, then...freedom! And responsibility...like getting a job and deciding what to do concerning college. Yeah, sounds like pure heaven now that I think about it, huh? :P
So, how are you doing these days, Julia? I'm doing well...although I'm experiencing a lot of new and sometimes conflicting thoughts and feelings now that graduation is near. It's confusing. I've been pouring most of it out in my journal, though, which helps tremendously. Watched the Jackets go out on a bang last night--a three-game winning streak. They came so, so close--tied with Minnesota for eighth place, but the ROW tiebreaker eliminated Columbus from going further than ninth. Oh, well, it was an excellent couple of months, considering they were 30th of 30 teams last season. :P They've come a long way, and I pray they take it to an even higher level next season.

I've seen (and heard) lots of
I've seen (and heard) lots of Downy Woodpeckers last summer. One time I heard one drumming away on a tree and I went over to watch it. I walked up only about ten feet away and it didn't seem to notice, it just kept on with its work. I ended up watching that woodpecker for about fifteen minutes because birds are so interesting!

Hi, Julia. How are you
Hi, Julia. How are you feeling? I'm not that great at the moment but that's beside the point...
You were referring to my profile picture, right? These are from KH2, the best game in the series, in my opinion. Well, KH2 Final Mix, that is...
Just throwing this out there... Not everyone here is a true Panhead. That includes some of the active members. A Panhead is on a different level than a Skillet fan. They don't just love Skillet's music and have been affected by their lyrics. They also don't blindly support Skillet's every action and love every song no matter what the content is. It's intricate but anyone who says that they love Skillet is not automatically a Panhead.
For your information, that comment was posted past midnight. My grammar is better than probably 98% of the U.S. teenage population, even when sleepy. Just make sure you check the time of the post, okay?
Sorry, I'm not big on these long comments anymore, so I'm going to start a new conversation.
I know you like the NHL, so I'm just curious how the Bruins are doing. According to ESPN Boston, they're struggling maintaining leads or something along those lines.
By the way, I'm not mad if I appear that way. I apologize if that's the case...

I'm scared to look away from your profile picture...
never thought of that before.
never thought of that before. I should try that. Safflower seeds huh? so what is it about those that squirrels don't like? But before I do that I'd have to replace the bird feeder. Squirrels found the last one and chewed on the string that suspended it in the air. Thus, the bird feeder fell from our deck all the way down. We have a basement in our house too so it fell pretty far. Let's just say that there is no more bird feeder lol.
True, true... if I had a week
True, true... if I had a week with Skillet, we'd travel across the country and visit all of the Incredible Pizzas. :P
And yes, Skillet does seem to be a pretty popular band with homeschoolers. I relate it to that most homeschooled kids are probably Christian, and Skillet is one of the few bands their parents approve of, haha. My favorite subject is probably snack time, but geography gives it a run for it's money. ;)
Haha, that's better. I
Haha, that's better. I thought you were saying colorful in terms of their personality. And yes, I am homeschooled. :)

Thanks! I found that quote on Camp Electric's website. Overall I've been average. Idk if that squirrel is still alive or not lol. We've shot at least five of them in the last few months so there's a slight chance that the one that attacked my car got shot lol :)
