Hey my names Katarina Osio but I perfer to be called Katy. I'm 18 and I'm a senior in high school, I thankfullt graduate this year ! 2015 ! Some school activities that I'm in are marching band, concert band, jazz band, mariachi, and one act play. I play the piano, I read, and I love to write and listen to music (especially skillet lol) The reason why I became a member of the skillet fan club is because Skillet has helped me and continues to help me get through so much. I lost my mother my sophomore year of high school and what hurt the most was that it was random (she wasn't sick) and I had also fought with her the night before she died and she came in before I went to bed to apologize and tell me that she wanted to go shopping that weekend. Well that night she had a massive heart attack in her sleep and the doctors couldn't do anything to help her or bring her back. After her funeral I started suffering from depression, anxiety, and self harming, I blamed myself for my mom dying and I started hating God and had stopped believing in him for a good while. Then I started listening to skillet and they helped me with so much and their lyrics and the words they preach, and seeing that Korey and Jen are musicians show me that I can do anything, and now I want to go to school for my dream and become a music producer. My depression and anxiety isn't as bad anymore thanks to them and Ive been clean for a month :)
