Went to see u guys on 4/8 in San Antonio for the Avalanche Tour. Great show, still love your music.but lost some respect for u guys. The whole reason i was at that concert was because of my 11 yr old nephew Jacob. He truly loves u guys & will tell anybody that your the best band ever. I suprised him with the tickets to go see u,which totally blew him over that he was actually going to get to see u live.
very disapointed

Went to see u guys on 4/8 in San Antonio for the Avalanche Tour. Great show, still love your music.but lost some respect for u guys. The whole reason i was at that concert was because of my 11 yr old nephew Jacob. He truly loves u guys & will tell anybody that your the best band ever. I suprised him with the tickets to go see u,which totally blew him over that he was actually going to get to see u live. Needless to say, it was the best day ever in his eyes. What was disapointing is that u couldn't even take 15 to 20 minutes out of your time to come meet & greet with your fans after your break.Art of Dying & Halestorm both wanted to meet there fans, but not u. We had gone out to get in line so that my nephew would not miss the opertunity to get to meet u guys & get his picture that he bought Autographed. After standind in line with a very excited 11 yr old & about 60 to 70 other fans for about 30 minutes,we was told that u guys didn't want to come out. Bad move on your part.U only had to go 2 1/2 hours down the road for your next gig,it would not have hurt u to come out for atleast 20 minutes. Along with my nephew which was devasted, so was alot of other angry fans that just left after that. If anything at all,I hope that these words set heavy not only on your souls, but your hearts!! May God bless u all & keep u safe throughout the rest of your tour. Please consider what I am saying, because u will start to loose alot of fan base as fast as u gained them if your not going to acknowledge them in person.
Still a fan

I saw on Youtube that Skillet said the problem happened before. They said it was the security. Not them.
If you go to YouTube and look for "skilletband" and find their video titled something along the lines of "important message to Tulsa" they explained a situation similar to this that happened a while back :/
Also, they had VIP tickets that coated more than the general admission, but with them you could get into the show early and meet Skillet.
When I went to the Fort Wayne concert, I was able to go in early because my dad has access to the staff/media entrance (he works for the ACPL, mainly at the Coliseum, which was the venue they were at) and when we went in, Skillet was standing RIGHT FREAKING THERE, but we didn't get in line to be fair to the people who bought the VIP tickets :(
man that is really rough! I would feel crushed if i went to a Skillet concert and that happend. I havent even got the chance to go yet. But, you have to think of everything that could have been going on. They could have been doing something else or things like that. They do come out for their fans ALL the time and I bet it does get a little crazy. and I agree wwith Cole about the security thing. They are the best i I know they wouldnt just blow off fans like that. But it is also a bummer that that happend to your nephew. Happy Birthday to him and im sure he will remember this Birth Day for the rest of his life!
well sorry to hear that your nephew didn't get an autograph i think Skillet was just to busy you can't really take it personally they said they don't like to do autograph sessions without security do to what's happened in the past if Skillet had time or if they had security around they would've been more than happy to sign autographs
