Hey all you Skillet fans. For those of you interested in football, I just want your opinion. Who do you think will be in this years Super Bowl?
Super Bowl-
New England Patriots- Defeated by Eli Manning's Giants 21-17.
New York Giants- Defeated Tom Brady's Patriots 21-17.
I was also wondering what would happen if they had Skillet performing the half-time show. What do you think that would be like? Would you watch it or want to be there?
Just name one team from each category (AFC and NFC) and state your opinion on the Skillet half-time show. Please.
Did anybody else feel like this was a repeat of Super Bowl XLII? I'm not trying to rub it in or anything, but it played out almost exactly the same way.
@ForsakenNavy I forgot about Tebow when I wrote that. Tebow is the most humble QB, but I said Brady was ARGUABLY the most humble, not is. I guess I should have said one of the most humble. Anyway, I'm done commenting on this discussion.
By the way, the other is Trevor Bayne, last years Daytona 500 winner. And, yes, I am a racing fan. I actually think I have racer's blood in me. Have to check up on that.
@JesusFreak08: He is one of the only two professional athletes out there that I know of that is not afraid to announce his faith. He gives credit first and foremost to the Lord, and then gives credit to his team mates.
@forsakenavy I agree! Tim Tebow is humble!
@killitwithskillit14: Tim Tebow is the most humble quarterback in the NFL. Sorry.
@tictacthedrumchick: February 5
Who do you like, Cole?
I just say good luck GIANTS and PATS
My team would've made it if it hadn't been for the Broncos losing
Well, my three most preferred teams--Packers, Broncos, and Jets--are out, so the SuperBowl doesn't really hold much appeal for me this year. It doesn't really matter, though, considering I'm a hockey fan who doesn't really find too much interest in the NFL anyway. Go, Columbus!
@ForsakenNavy I wasn't rubbing it in. I'm just a Patriots fan who is elated his team is going to the SB. And that comment wasn't aimed at you or any other Ravens fan. Besides, I did predict that the Patriots would make the SB, did I not? @Jesusfreak08 I don't know about Belichick, but Brady is NOT extremely arrogant. He's arguably the most humble QB in the NFL. He's just very competitive and intense on the field who gets really angry at himself when he makes a mistake. He always takes the blame and doesn't fault his receivers. Anyone who reads NFL news or watches interviews of him will see that he commends and respects his opponents. He even admitted that he sucked in yesterday's game in front of all the fans in the stadium and gave the defense the credit for winning the game. Anyway, It's gonna be a great game Feb 5th. The Patriots want revenge!!!
@TicTactheDrumChick The Super Bowl is Sunday, February 5th starting at 6:30 P.M.
btw, sorry if I sound dumb, but when is the superbowl??????
So the super bowl is Giants vs Pats! I say giants all the way again! Just cuz I am a huge fan of the Giants! Btw I think Brady and Belichick are very arrogant now let me say I respect the pats as a team just like very other team in the nfl. But I can and never will rout for the pats to win cuz I am an Indianapolis colts fan but I hope they (the players) all are safe during the super bowl!
GO GIANTS!
Don't rub it in. This is not for bragging, it is for you opinion as to who will win the Super Bowl this year.
PATRIOTS ARE ON TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And by the way, just because I don't like a team doesn't not mean I don't respect them. The same goes with players.
Okay. Okay. @Skillet97: I'm with you all the way. @Infected Pollock: I never said he raped anyone. I was saying that he is way too dangerous, and that he would have been the biggest roadblock in the Ravens path to the Super Bowl. @KillitwithSkillet14: I never knew about that. Brady and Belichick are arrogant, and I will admit I was exaggerating. If Lewis murdered anyone, he would most likely be in prison right now. And karma bit them in the butt when they lost to the Giants in that Super Bowl. Put it behind you. They ran up the score against the Broncos, yes, and they have done it against others too, but is there any team in the NFL that has not? And New England would not have had that success had they not won that game against the Raiders all those years ago. Stupid Tuck rule.
Sorry. But I'm sick of everyone hating on New England. Everywhere, especially on NFL sites of course, everything about them is "Their cheaters," "Brady's a crybaby/diva who is favored by the refs," "All of their super titles are fake because of spy gate," "Their classless, running up the score and disrespecting their opponents," etc... All of these are pretty much blatant lies, but this is what you get when you have the success NE has had since 2001. It's called sour grapes.
Are we really argueing?
@ForsakenNavy What about the Ravens Ray Lewis possibly murdering a couple of people back in 2000. I think he got away with it. That's a million times worse than what Brady did. Belichick and Brady's arrogance rivals that of the devil? Give me a break.
I'm pretty sure Roethlisberger didn't rape anyone or else he'd be in prison.
RAVENS ALL THE WAY BABY! lol
@Killitwithskillet14: Not to injuries, by trade. And I am not envious of their success, I am just sick of Brady and Billichek. Their arrogance rivals that of the devil. Now, I do admit that Gronkowski and Welker are good players, but I don't know about Brady. Jury is still out, especially when he got some girl pregnant and left her to marry a model and got her pregnant as well (but at least he is not like Roethlisberger).
@ForsakenNavy You hope the Patriots lose Gronkowski, Welker, and Brady? Never wish injuries for players. Not cool, man. :( Unless you meant you want them to leave NE next season via free agency. Not happening. I realize I sound upset, but I'm just backing my Patriots who are constantly attacked because everyone is envious of their success.
The Championship games for each Conference are set.
AFC- Baltimore Ravens v. New England Patriots.
NFC- New York Giants v. San Francisco 49rs.
Oh. And sorry to all you cheeseheads (Korey and Lori included). They played great the first half. And to you Saints fans, the Saints had the 49rs on the ropes the entire game. Keep your heads up. Tebow always has next year. I'm just hoping that the Patriots lose Gronkowski, Welker, and Brady. Houston fans, with a rookie quarterback, that was an exceptional feat. Look out for the Texans next year.
@Infected Pollock Yeah, that seems likely.
49ers vs Patriots for the super bowl
