I think skillet should atleast start playing some old stuff. Like more stuff from collide, alien youth, skillet, etc. I just wished they would play some of their old stuff live: when the new album comes out they mostly play stuff from that one and from awake and a little from comatose. I just dont want to old stuff to die out

I think You Are My Hope would be a perfect song to bring back. John Cooper joked about it on a Skillet podcast. He was playing the chords during a soundcheck trying to remember the song, saying "here's some old school". After he finished he was like "let's play it TONIGHT! emergency band rehearsal" and the sound guys are like "dude that would be awesome" and they just laugh it off. That song is no doubt my fav Skillet song. Plus it would be another cool song to hear Jen sing co-lead vocals on like she did with Yours to Hold.
I mean, it couldn't hurt if they played 2 or 3 old songs during a set. The setlist for the next tour could look like this:

I really wish they would sing the song Collide again. That was one of my favorites live. Locked in a Cage and You Are My Hope would be awesome as well.
Yeah I also think it'd be cool if they'd play More Faithful from Hey You, I Love Your Soul and You Are My Hope from Alien Youth.

I saw an interview with Korey where she said that John doesn't want to play too many of the old songs because the new fans may not know them. I think that if they play the older songs, it will encourage those fans to listen to some of their other records besides Awake and Comatose. Korey also said that John doesn't want to play the song Alien Youth again because they over played it so much. lol I really wish that they would play more from Collide because that album rocks!
I agree. They played songs from Alien Youth(Kill Me Heal Me) up to 2007 and Invincible(Best Kept Secret and Angels Fall Down) up to 2009. For Collide they eliminated Forsaken and Collide and My Obsession during the Awake and Alive tour but kept Savior on their set list. It would be a shame if they stopped playing Savior. I think one reason Skillet doesn't play songs from pre-Collide is because it doesn't attract to the secular audience as much. And their new songs are just a lot more popular and most people know them. Remember that their are a lot of Skillet fans that don't know Skillet had any albums before Collide or Comatose.
