    This discussion is about listening to certain types of music or bands for one hour Monday-Saturday. There are six themes- one for each day of the week, minus Sunday. They are the following:

    Choose It Yourself Monday( On day one, you are free to listen to whatever you please during Music Hour. What you listen to each week can vary if you want it to. There are no restrictions.)
    Random Tuesday( On this day, you are limited to one song only from each band you listen to. It's basically a mixed playlist)
    New Wednesday( Today, you can play songs that are newly released(2010 and later) and/or songs

New Wednesday( Today, you can play songs that are newly released(2010 and later) and/or songs that you seldom listen to)(or aren't familiar with)
Heavy Thursday( Just play the heaviest songs you own!)
Favorite Band Friday( Obviously, you can only listen to your favorite band on this day. If you know someone who shares your favorite band, the two of you can choose which song the other must listen to. Ten songs are recommended.)
Sad Songs after Dark Saturday( You can listen to songs that you think are sad or are considered to be sad by many. If a certain song makes you depressed or brings back unpleasant memories, don't play it. As the theme of this day blatantly suggests, you need to listen to the songs once darkness fills the sky, preferably when it's 9:00 P.M. in your time zone)

Three in the afternoon is the suggested time of the day to do this, but a person can choose a specific time of the day that suits them. Also, this is just a fun, unique thing we can do if capable or interested. No one is required to participate.

All credit goes to Cole Pollock(currently Straightedge Pollock) for originating this idea and forming all the rules.

Reviving again.

Why do you think I put quotation marks around the word "artist"?

Coming For You's picture

can you really call them artists when there's no artistic talent in pop music?

KillitwithSkillet14's picture

@Trin I was referring to all the terrible music out there. For example, the kids/teenagers at my church memorize lyrics of those horrendous pop "artists."
@Brookelyn I know.
