@PanheadForGod
It's a miracle from God that I'm still here and I'm sure glad that I am!
That's a great idea! I'd like to give hope to anyone in a similar situation, so I'll send them my testimony. Thanks for the info.
:-)
Growing up I thought Christianity was just a bunch of rules that a bunch of hypocrites tried to follow. The church we went to growing up was so "surface level" where everyone tried to put on the "perfect face". I never connected with my Saviour and thus began my fall. I got into things I wish I never had. Christ would not give up on me that easily though. He protected me even though I did not know Him. He never let me go farther than I could handle. Many bad turns later I found myself, through the pressures of my girl, going to visit a new church. I finally saw what living for Christ was all about! I accepted the Lord into my heart and it has never been the same!
When you realize that all you truly have to do is love the Lord with all your heart it is truly an amazing feeling because everything else falls into place. Sure we go through the storms of life, but there is a peace that is so much greater than it all! God bless you all!
@jesus4ever5431, if there was a like button on here...I would click it ^_^ That is a amazing story! Do you have a facebook? If so, check out Misson L.O.V.E. and share your story. :D
When I was younger my grandmother took me to church. I believed in God, but I was kind of afraid of him. This is probably because my father was abusive. I had this idea in my head that if my earthly father didn't love me, how could a perfect God love me? When I was 15 my grandmother died, which was the worst day of my life because she was the person who was always there for me. I became depressed due to the abuse from my father and the death of my grandmother. I started cutting myself and thought about suicide. One night I cried out to God and for the first time in my life I felt at peace. I made my commitment to Christ when I was 16. No matter what you've been through, God can heal all wounds.
:-)
I completely believe in God because he have done a lot for me and my family. I'm Christian since I was born, but I really met God when I was 13 while he was telling me the things that hurt me and he wanted to take away!!!
I'M PROUD OF BEING CHRISTIAN EVEN THOUGH MANY PEOPLE DNT LIKE IT!
i am proud to be a child of God :) it's never to late to join his family and believe me, it's the best thing you'll do in your whole life. becuz it is a matter of eternity
I'm a Christian. My faith in God i found it when I turned to Jesuschrist for the second time at 15 going 16, I have been raised in a Christian family and my parents were always teaching us (me, my brother and my sister). When I turned 12, I had fallen. My sins were not drugs, talking trash, or not believing in God. In my point of view, the sin that I had experienced is worse, the sin acts like a mental drug, it stays forever in my mind, if you know what I mean. Right now, I know my purpose in my life and working on it really hard. My faith is strong now, but tentation is always there.
i'm a christian as for my faith i've had it my whole life i've been taught to have faith and pray and be a good person and skillet kinda helped me be closer before i listened to skillet i had faith and knew what to do and what not to do but i didn't pray a whole lot and i cussed quiet a bit now i pray way more and i've cut down on cussing
