  • Avalanche Tour--Christian Friendly?

    I love Skillet, and I was planning on going to one of their concerts (because there's one coming up nearby, which is somewhat rare) with a couple of Christian friends, but then I found that several of the other bands playing have swearing and other such things in their music, which I find offensive. Will they be toning it down at all for this tour? If not then I'm not going. I love Skillet. It's my favorite band, but I'm not going to sit there and hear a bunch of profanity from four other bands, and I'm certainly not going to expose my friends to it.

    I have a question -- I'm a fellow drummer and would like to know what hardware Jen uses -- I know from watching the vids its a DW set, does anyone know if she uses a double / triple bass pedal and if so what model?  Unfortunantly in all the vids no-one ever focuses on the footwork of Jens awesome solos.

  • In what order do bands play at Winter Jam -...

    For Skillet fans that have been to WinterJam and been lucky enough to get in (we were part of the 5000 fans that had to go home after waiting 2 hours in Atlanta), I have a question:

    When did Skillet take the stage at Winter Jam?  Are they the last band?  Sort of in the middle?  Thanks for the answers.  Trying to go to Chattanooga TN tomorrow night and take my daughter who is a huge Skillet fan.

    so, i think u should come up to new england. ive never been to a concert, but i love this band <3 i cant afford to go south, nobody around here really can.. im not saying come all the way to new hampshire, its pretty lame up here, but somewhere close by would be nice : ] pleeaassee ?? id love to see this band, &n trust me, id be there, nothing would stop me : ]

  • Seen Skillet live? I have a question...

    I have listened to Skillet for a long time but have never had the chance to see them live.  They are finally coming close enough that I can go.  Are moshpits a concern I should have? I have been to some concerts where they get out of control and its something I dont want to get stuck in.  I have the opportunity for GA tickets by the stage, but am worried about the pits.  TIA!
