I have an 11 year old daughter and she has a few Skillet songs on her ipod already and loves this music. I just noticed a tour date in Rome GA in a few weeks and thought it would be great for her first concert to be watching Skillet. It also seems that this particular tour is a little on the ministry side vs just a rock concert which would make this even better. Any advice from fans or the band?
And I think it would be a stretch but my 6 year old son can sing Monster from start to finish :)
My nephew is 7 and he is going to a skillet concert. If you wanted to take him maybe some headphones or ear plugs just so he isn't getting all the loud noise. 11 is the perfect age for a first concert. I was 15 when I saw skillet, knew non of their songs. became a skillet addict since!
you have to know the maturity of your child and whether or not they can tolerate the loud speakers. I think 11 is fine. I was 15 when I got to go to my first concert with my church. I am not sure about 6, whether or not it might scare him or be to loud.
