So you prabably have heard. It's all over the news, but the east caost has just had the biggest earthquake its had for over a century. I did not feel it, such a drag, I've always wanted to feel an earthquake, but I am watching the news and a lot of people have been really scared and very worried. I want people to pray for these people, pray that buildings stand tall and no historical artifacts get damaged, pray that nobody gets hurt and that this is as bad as it is going to get. Pray that it wont hapen again.

Still praying!

My family and I are already praying for these people. My mom and I have kept a close watch on the Weather Channel today, monitoring Hurricane Irene and remembering to lift these people to God in prayer. We live in the state of West Virginia (as you can probably see from our account name), so the earthquake didn't effect us that much. Still, my mom and younger brother heard a low rumble and felt a tremor the day after the quake struck; and my grandma said as she was sitting in her recliner at home she felt her chair shake--twice. So yeah, this is a big deal, and we should remember to turn to God for protection and provision--not just in times of crisis but in times of favor as well. God bless America. :-)

I'm definately praying for everyone. My family and I felt the earthquake, but there was no damage where we live. Praying the hurricane that we are supposed to get doesnt do too much damage either

Sure thing. You've got my prayers.
We were at the beach and my Mom said she felt like she was moving, but she had a fever so we thought it was just side effects of the fever then we got home and saw the news. Check out proverbs 3:5.

My heart goes out to all the families that were effected by this unfortunate disaster and I pray that they will recover fast that something like this doesn't happen again.

Yeah I'll be praying for everyone here in the east coast. That's where I live and I did feel the earthquake. My family and I are safe as well. It was about a magnitude 6.0 earthquake. To make matters worse though, a category 2-3 hurricane will most likely hit the country later this week. Not sure how much it will affect the east coast but we should also pray for the safety of everyone in the U.S. as this hurricane reaches us.
