Definitly. Their music is so epic with the rock and strings, and I love epic-ness...But really, their passion for Christ and for people who are hurting has really inspired me. John and Korey have become role models of mine.

Skillet has inspired me by just being true to myself and not being scared of people and trying to impress people. They have also inspired me to be more closer to God.

Skillet helped me to be faithful in myself and in God. And Skillet also helps inspire me whenever I feel like drawing.
Like Bman1998 and a couple
Like Bman1998 and a couple others, I also want to learn how to play the bass and headbang while playing it like John Cooper haha. And they have really helped me in my walk with God in various ways. Their music encourages and uplifts me and have helped me trust God through the most challenging trials. I left secular music for good once I began listening to Skillet, the greatest band in the world! :)

john inspired me to want to learn Bass to be addicted to Skillet (YEAH) slightly addicted to Dr. Pepper (it is not a big one but it is a slight one) and that Pyro makes everything better

As a lot of my fellow online Panheads like to say, "reviving discussion" here. Yeah, Skillet has inspired me in many ways...of course, as a Christian, then as a music fan, then as a writer. I love to write novels with a Christian message, and I look up to a few different songwriters...including John and Korey Cooper of Skillet. Plus, Skillet just inspires me to be myself when it comes to music and just dance along to the song on my MP3 player (yes, I'm one of the few people who hasn't upgraded to an iPod yet)...even if my dance moves are on the scary side. Just kidding...but I'm not the most talented dancer in the world...
Skillet has inspired me to go further and further with me learning the Bass Guitar and im really enjoying the stuff ive learnt through determination to sit down and actually learn rather than let it sit there - thanx Skillet. I really want to be able to play music at the same professional level that you do one day
They have made me understand that rock is not just sex and drugs.

Mine is a combination of all of yours. John has been my role model on how to be a Christian, how to talk about God in front of people, not be afraid to say what he thinks, and is also not afraid to show his funny/geeky side.
Korey has also been a real help to me with being a Christian, I'm in the book club and that book has forced me to look at myself in ways I wouldn't have done otherwise. But not only that, as a girl myself, I find it amazing how she is a singer, keyboardist/pianoist, guitarist and a mother of two kids, whom she home schools. I'm home schooled and believe me, it must be very hard for her.
Jen is the reason I bought a drum set and will learn the drums. She is also inspiring to me that I perhaps CAN make it into the music industry, she wasn't even 18 when she auditioned and she got the job. That's really amazing

Skillet has inspired me to be a better person, seek God, love people, and rock out:) There a huge reason why I got into music (biggest would be God's will:) and they've really shown me how to live my life and make my music. My life goal is to be in Skillet:)
