I noticed that there was a lack of funny, comedy-related things here on the Discussion Boards, so...
JUST POST SOME RANDOM STUFF HERE! :D
*UPDATE*
Over the extensive period of time this discussion has been up, I've noticed that some people are posting angst-y, depression-related topics. That wasn't my intent when I created this discussion, so I'm going to revise the rules as necessary.
~As I mentioned before, please don't post about depression, angst, or any other kind of darkness or personal problems; it has no place on this discussion thread, and there are other discussions where you can post things like that-I'd suggest Giving Light To The Lost. You'll find encouragement from many of our wonderful members there, rather than here!
~This is a discussion to post random things, but be sure to keep it PG. No cuss words, swearing, or inappropriate words/innuendos of any kind.
~Casual chatting (ex. "nice weather we're having here!" "Did you hear about the newest Skillet song?") should be kept to the Chat Page! discussion.
~Have a fantastic time! :D

Oh, yeah, I might lol. Owls
Oh, yeah, I might lol. Owls play hard, though! their beaks and talons are razor-sharp, and sometimes while 'nibbling' on an owner's hand, they'll actually bite hard and draw blood accidentally. One scientist's owl bit clean through her hand when it got surprised. But for the most part, a tamed owl plays gently, and will even 'preen' a human's hair like it would preen its mate in the wild. Owls are so fascinating! :)

Well, at Caltech, 'studying'
Well, at Caltech, 'studying' would be the same as writing down any behavioral issues, recording your owl's various calls, etc. Owls are very intelligent, and many owners have noticed significant changes in their owls as they grow up. For example, one scientist, Stacy O'Brien, noticed that her owl, Wesley, had emotions just like a human. Every time he'd attempt to fly and crash, she'd laugh and he would stare at the wall for 5 minutes before getting over his embarrasment.
