Winter Jam Question

If anyone's been to winter jam and could answer this, it would make my life a little easier.

When you get to the winter jam venue, do you buy a ticket when you first get there, or do you wait until the doors open and pay then? I just need to know if I should pack some dinner in a cooler or something cause it doesn't start until 6, and I'll probably get there around noon.

    Thanks a ton!

I've seen one of their shows and I was pretty close (row L) so it's not the end of the world if I don't get close, but I want to get as close as possible, so I think that's a pretty good time. And I live about 6.5 hours away straight shot, but it's all the extra stops that are so time consuming. Woo!! So pumped!

Btw, if anyone has another suggestion for my question 2 comments down, it would be much appreciated.

Skillet is worth it. I would do that if it wern't for traffic in Nashville being super thick. Lexington is about 12 hours from where I am btw haha

Ok sweet.

I also have another question. If the doors open at 6, is noon or 1 a good time to get there?

well at the one i just went to, my family ate at Wendys on the way there and then we went to the place were the concert was at and stood in line outside to get in. When u got to the door there was someone taking money that u paid the 10$ to.

Yeah, I'm going from my house in Northern Indiana to Bloomington (Indiana University) to pick up my friend, then to Kentucky, then Indianapolis, then Ball State University. Yeah, it's going to be an adventure, but it's Skillet so it's worth it

woah, that's a long drive. We'll be driving like less than two hours to either of the three closest shows (Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga)

My best friend and I are going to the one in Lexington. We don't live super close, but our colleges are, kinda. Overall, I'll be in a car for like 12 hours, but that's spread out to 3 days of traveling.

lucky! you get to drive there. The closest one to where I am is Nashville, and the traffic is really thick there that I couldn't get there without a gps (of which I don't have one). So I'll get there late like always when I go with someone else :(

JamNation is pretty pricy for only going once. It'd be sweet to have, but I would want to go to more than just the one time.

Yeah you can either pay when you get to the door or get Jam Nation

Ok sweet thanks!
