We're gonna be preparing for tour with Toby in the next week or so!!! I'm so excited we get to finish the year off with these guys! It's gonna be a lot of fun and I hope to see you guys there rockin!!

It's my mums birthday today, (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY CAROLE!!!!!) I wish I could be home to give her a big hug! But alas, I will keep rocking in America and doing what I do!!:) haha! I'm currently watching Beauty & the Beast with Alex.... I guess that's not so Rock n' Roll!!! haha!

    Greetings!!!

We are back on the road again...not that we really left, but 13ish days off in September was definitely unusual. Down time? Not so much, but productive nonetheless. I was summoned for jury duty, so the first 5 days home I was fulfilling my civic duty. Let me just say, it was nothing like "Law and Order". The main conclusion I came away with is it's risky business putting your life in the hands of 12 peers. Our justice system is either ingenious or  injudicious....Either way, the trial went well, and I am confident that our ruling was just.

In the meantime, the life of a wife and mother doesn't slow down. I asked Jen to do school with my daughter for the week and per usual she did an exemplary job. She did so well, in fact, that I talked her into doing it part time for the rest of the school year. Thank goodness for her. Ben and I were also working on remixes, spending a decent amount of time at skies fall studio. A bit of our Monster remix can be heard on recent podcasts, but the rest are in the pipeline waiting to be used.

Lastly, my book club started October 1st though it's not too late to join if you are interested. The first book of choice is "The Pursuit of God" by A.W. Tozer. It is definitely intense, but incredible if you bother to dig in. I am aware that we have lots of fans who are not Christians, but for those who are or who are interested in finding out more about it, the book club may just be your thing. I have enjoyed sharing my thoughts and reading all of yours.  Check out www.skilletbookclub.com for more details.

Well, I'm off to catch the end of Word Girl and give the kids a bath. We are most likely going to be in a city near you, so check our schedule and come out and rock with us...

    Peace,
    Korey

    Hey Everyone!

How's it going? This is Jenny here with a quick little update!

We’re home right now! Woohoo! I’m currently sipping coffee at my roommate’s house getting ready to finish decorating the kitchen with them. Then it will be time to Skype the family (cause its been a while :s )

We're just getting ready to leave for tour with Papa Roach this Wednesday. We’re all really excited about it. (I used to listen to them when I was growing up! It’s a little weird feeling!). Someone will be updating you next Monday on our initial vibes for the tour. They have such a great live show! I hope to be seeing some of you guys there!

We Played a Greg Laurie event a couple of nights ago in Chicago (Harvest Fest). It was an unusual feeling playing a show then heading home (hitting target on the way of course) and then getting to sleep in your own bed!! haha! The show was awesome though. We had a great time playing, the crowd was awesome and although we only got to play for 25 minutes, we all had an awesome time.

It’s been great being home for a few days, got too catch up with friends. Kor, Ben and I all threw a surprise party yesterday for a good friend of mine, Brittany (thanks Ben and Kor:). Turned out a lot of fun... Although I really need to learn how to become less competitive with the games!!! :S Oops!

Anyways! Hope you guys are doing well!

    See you soon! :)
    Jen
